Big News!
Brian Is Currently Behind Bars
On Wednesday (2/26/25), word started to spread locally (Fort Wayne, IN) that Brian had been arrested. Being a small Midwest town with only a few hundred thousand people, word travels fast. While I would normally be the one breaking this news, these days I don’t spend nearly as much time wondering or focusing on the day to day of the infamous Brian Thornton.
A mugshot was sent to me Wednesday afternoon of a elvish and scruffy looking Brian, locked up in the Allen County Jail.
Obviously, my first thought was “What did he do now?”. We’re all still waiting to learn the answer to thought, but what I can say so far is the following:
According to his latest Instagram post, Brian was in Miami Beach on Monday.
Two days later, on Wednesday, Brian was arrested on the following charges:
35-33-10-3: Extradition
He had court yesterday morning (2/27/25) and his bail was set at $500,000.
Brian currently resides in the Allen County Jail waiting on extradition to Jacksonville, Florida to face charges there. What those charges are currently remain unknown to the public.
Brian has been appointed with a public defender; a bit of a shock to those familiar with him as he likes to do things “Pro Se”.
A search of public records for Duval County, Florida as well as Florida’s warrant website currently turn on no results. We have also reached out to other local resources, but so far have no insight into the reason for the extradition.

As for now, Fort Wayne and any other locations he’s been frequenting can breathe a small sigh of relief knowing he’s currently sitting behind bars where he beings.
